The Value of CUASA

CUASA adds value by representing the needs of our members, users and keeping them informed of local developments in the communications environment.

We represent our users by:

•	Providing constructive input and submissions with regard to pending legislation
•	Ensuring that relevant decision-makers pro-actively and voluntarily consult with CUASA
•	Ensuring that our positions and the interest of our members are reflected in law, policies and regulation
•	Ensuring the widest possible coverage and awareness of key communications issues
•	Providing members access to respected international organisations and their respective benchmarks
•	Represent all members as a collective on sensitive, high-profile issues
•	Promoting our members' positions in the media
•	Providing feedback
•	Encouraging active user involvement

As a collective, CUASA is able to:

•	Command a greater impact with government structures, including Parliament and respective portfolio committees
•	Access a larger pool of knowledge and resources
•	Represent all members as a collective on sensitive, high-profile issues

We inform our users by:

•	Providing regular electronic newsletters and news flashes
•	Organising seminars and workshops on topics of interest
•	Promoting our members' positions in the media
•	Providing feedback
