CUASA
is an association, formed in 2001, that
represents the specific interests of communication
users as distinct from the interests of
operators, the Dept. of Communications,
the Regulator (ICASA), and
political interests.

Who belongs
to CUASA?
A.
Members include businesses
across a wide spectrum of interests such
as Banking/Financial, Industry, Retail,
Communication, Services. Although permitted
to join CUASA as supporting members, operators
may not belong to the Executive Council
or vote on any issues.

How does
the Association operate
A.
The
constitution of the Association is accessible
on the CUASA web page. The Executive Committee
is appointed at the AGM. It meets monthly
in order to address issues of pressing
concern to users, and where necessary
a task group is established.
